Oring rim weight Installation
and Removal
There are 3 orings per half.
The 2 outer orings are larger than the inner most oring.
The inner most smaller oring can Not be used in the yoyo all by itself.
It needs to be held in by one of the larger orings placed in the middle
groove.
So to use one oring per side, install a larger oring in the middle oring
groove.
With 2 orings per side, use the 2 larger orings in middle and outer grooves.
Or, the smaller inner oring held in place with a middle larger oring
installed.
After installing, always run thumb or index finger around the orings to seat
them evenly!
Inserting all 3 orings.
Install smaller inner oring first and run thumb or index finger around the
oring to seat it.
It will not seat perfect so get it close and install a larger oring into the
middle groove.
Now run thumb or index finger around the oring to seat it evenly.
This will also seat the smaller inner oring at the same time.
Repeat procedure to install the 3rd oring in the outer groove.
Removal:
This is the easiest way to remove the orings without a tool if all 3 are
installed.
The middle oring is hard to remove even if the outer most oring is already
removed.
So, start with the Outer most oring by pulling up on it with your index finger
to remove it.
Now pull up on “ the Inner most smaller oring “ !! with your index
finger and remove it.
Sometimes when removing the
smaller inner oring, the middle oring will come out too.
If the middle oring did not come
out along with the inner oring, it is now easy to remove.
